I was really scared when we were to have our duty at the mental hospital. I really didn’t know what to expect. I was unsure of myself if I was even ready to cope with all the responsibilities as a student nurse. But how bad could it be. I was exposed once to mentally ill patients when I had my duty at the home for the aged near our city so I know it would be a lot easier than what I expect.

At the National Center for Mental Health, cameras are not allowed to protect the patient’s identity. So as much as we wanted to have our memories with our patients captured, we really couldn’t which is why I only have photos of the grand socialization during our last day, but no patients included.

So I’ve been working out for the past nine days with Cherry and I’ve been having so much fun. Each day seems to be different and I never get tired with the program I’m in. Cherry and I are on both ends of the spectrum since she’s trying to lose weight while I’ve been trying to gain some.

So far, she’s been having a hard time seeing the results as I gaze on my new found buddies Paris (my left bicep) and Nicole (my right bicep), and of course, how could I forget my 4 Pandesals a.k.a. abs. For now, I wouldn’t be showing you pictures because I want to wait for 3 months and post the final fruit of my everyday labor. Anyways, going back, she’s been trying to get herself to eat only what is enough to suffice her everyday body needs but here’s a few tip not only to her but to some of you out there who wants to do the same.
