Zola Dagupan just opened recently and it has been making a huge buzz around the little city of Dagupan and we only have one person to thank, and that is the same guy responsible for putting up Zola Baguio.

For me and Boo’s first monthsary, I took him to Zola to see what the buzz is all about. But not only that, i gave him a new haircut as you can see in the picture, and the fabulous shirt he is wearing as well. It kinda brings out the sophisticated rocker inside of him, don’t you think?

I am telling you people, prepare yourself for a whirlwind around Zola with my infamous “smile”, for sprinkling it all over the place would be a complete understatement.

With Boo being the one in-the-know with all the dishes in Zola, I allowed him to do the ordering for he knows what’s best.

As for me, I guess you know by now what happens next…

Drinks, anyone?

I on the other hand was wearing the white cargo jeans and black top he gave me. :)

We ordered bolognese and carbonara and an 8″ pizza for dinner and given the time to prepare these kinds of dishes, I’d have to say it was served pretty fast.

I wasn’t ready with my “smile” yet and Boo took the shot already. Hmf!

Spell YUM! Y-U-M!

It was pretty small being a pizza lover, but after binging on the bolognese I had, I left my last slice untouched. I think the pictures alone are enough justification on how much I loved the food.

First the Bolognese. . .

Then the pizza. . .

Okay, okay, I may have overdone this whole trying-to-gain-weight thing

After all that food I was ready to go to the comfort room LOL. I was full to my throat and the iced tea was just enough to quench my thirst.

Or maybe not…

It was pretty fun shouting at each other with so much noise we had to compete with. But as the night went further on, the older people started leaving so we pretty much had a cozy ending to our date. Before we left the fabulous location while Boo was at the comfort room, I used my pizza knife and dabbed it on the saucer with catsup and left a message for him on a tissue paper which read “I (heart) you”. It sure did put a smile on his face. :)

Happy First Monthsary Boo! I certainly had a great time!

Days had passed but this was the only time I had to blog about me and Huggie’s special day celebrated last July 10, 2008. Better late than never I always say. :)

———-

So we were supposed to have our make-up class with our instructor, Ms. Inacay, but turns out she had sore eyes. She sent me a text message minutes before I was about to leave the house which was truly a jumping moment for me. I was super amped about the news that I sent Boo an instant message telling him to call me up so I could spill the good news to him. When he called up, he was as excited as I was. Truly, the day was meant to happen happily for the two of us.

So I met up with him where we were to have our Lunch, which was at Jack’s. We love the food there because we get a lot of serving for the price we can afford.

So once again, the serving of the food took quite a while. I was loving Boo’s outfit that I wanted to capture it on camera.

He simply makes the best candid photos which I envy so much.

As boo looked super fab ala Christian Siriano, I looked like the crap ordered from hell. Seriously, I need a wardrobe change!

I look soo bad the picture needed to be captured via Sepia.

So after having the Jack’s rice last time, we decided to order something different.

I orderd the Lechon Kawali (bottom dish) served with fried rice, while Boo had their Sizzling Pork Chop (top dish). I wasn’t able to taste the pork chop so I really couldn’t tell you guys if it’s a winner or a never-try-it dish. As for my Lechon Kawali, I was a bit shocked that I only get 5 slices with the proportion of their rice serving. Though it is fried rice, given that you can eat it on its own, was still a disappointment. Another disappointment was how salty it was. I couldn’t imagine how much soy sauce went into making this dish but I’m guessing it’s enough to give your body a run for its money.

Before we ate, I took one more picture of Boo as he made a joke out of his iced tea.

[eat... eat... and ate some more...]

Since he brought most of his stuff for our little plan for tonight, I had to bring it home first so we could get through the day not carrying the big paper bag known as his things :).

When he received a call from Lyra, a friend of his, saying that she was at Nepo Mall, he wanted me to meet her, so we did.

She asked if we already ate, and though we said yes, she insisted on eating again which I think was very sweet of her. So even if I was uber full with what we had at Jack’s, I fed myself more with some Pancit Palabok and pineapple juice.

That’s Ms. Lyra on the right and fashion guru, boo, on the left ahihi :)

By this time, I may be smiling but I am bloated!

So we roamed the mall thrice after dining at Jollibee and frankly, it didn’t take us that long to do that.

When Lyra had to go somewhere, I decided to finally give Boo the haircut he needed before we go to Zola. I promised myself that was the place I’d be taking him since I could really tell how much he misses it. But since the day was young, I took him to City Mall to buy him a special something something as my monthsary gift to him.

The night finally arrived and we were starving! We couldn’t say Zola faster!

Zola! Zola! Voila!

We arrived and I’d have to say, it was NOISY! The place was packed with people and I’d have to say, they’re a hit!

Whaaaaat?

Posted by Remcyl under Hair, Random thoughts, School, Style

So as I was resting my head a few minutes ago, I heard my mom on the phone with someone from my new school talking about my schedule, and turns out, I have a fucking class by Friday. Not Monday, or Tuesday. But a Freaking Friday!
This has changed everything I had in mind about my first day as a La Salettian. So tomorrow, I’d be doing a lot of stuffs that are important a.k.a. a trip to my friend Gerry (that’s my David’s Salon stylist for those new to my site), a mani and a pedi, refresh my kikay kit, and most importantly, pay a visit to my month-long friend –the gym.

Argh! I hate impromptu messages like that. Oh well. Need to take some beauty rest to get myself a head start.

Oh yes!

Posted by Remcyl under Hair

It’s time to get rid of the past and look forward into the future.

More like today. And to prepare myself for what lies ahead, it’s that time of the year once again when  I visit my very good friend Gerry for my monthly haircut. I’ve noticed lately that me and my stylist (together with the staff of David’s Salon) have been talking so much about almost anything. Today was super hilarious as Gerry jokes about her shampoo girl to be giving blowjobs on gay people. She gives so much head that her tongue turned into a ginormous scrotum. LOL. How’s that for bonding?

N E WAYS,

I wanted the usual faux hawk I’ve been getting for the past months and still the same side streaks. I’ve gone overboard once again and I definitely think I look like a mutant.  LOL

Oh yes! Fierce, I know. After having those awesome photos, I fell in love with myself and wanted to make myself even hotter.

Is it just me or have I been more of a narcissist lately? I’m telling you people, after that break-up all I could focus on now is loving the Remcyl I neglected.

What do you think?  Fierce or Mistakes of the Shears?

Is it just me?

Or has everyone turned their fierce button on?

I don’t know about you, but after coming back from a trip to Manila, I’ve realized how much beauty the Philippines has to offer with the locals. The hippest clothes, the trendiest accessories, the flashiest blings, augh! I am certainly smacked I tell you.

Of course, yours truly the Queen of Gorgeousness herself (ahem ahem), has turned his button as well. I tell you, not only did my workouts work on my physique, but it has done many miracles to my skin as well.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’ll present to you my latest pictures which my ex-bestfriend Photoshop has never touched.

I am telling you, this is the best I’ve looked after years of aging (considering the photos above were taken at 4:55 in the morning). I mean, sure my eyes are fucked and my cheekbones are still prominent, but I certainly look better. The photos says it all!

CHEERS TO FIERCE QUEERNESS AND TO LOOKING GREAT!

So for today, I was supposed to look for a job but I found a great web site which pays so much better while I’m waiting for June (which by the way is far from tomorrow, Augh!) so I just stayed home and watch some good ol’ TV.

Out of the blue my mom told me we were going out together. The usual place would either be the market, the bank, or the hospital. But today, she wanted to go to the mall and gallivant. Something new alright. At first I wanted to clarify to her that I didn’t want her doing this just so I wouldn’t pity myself after flunking my NCM 102.

So anyways, we were off with my sister, who was such a good sport for being my paparazzi today, the day I decided to camwhore.

Pictures after the jump…

Also, I’d like to welcome two new links on my blogroll, Dave and Jepoy Go who’s writings justifies the need for them to be included in my list.

After the long days of reviewing for the final examinations, I must say I’m pretty amped up to blog. I miss my life so much. Yes, for me, school life is no life at all. It’s only a preparation to the real deal so this to me is pretty much like life in Hollywood. Fake and hiding behind the curtains and yet everyone seems to want to have a taste of it. I once did too, but I grew out of it.

Anyways, I went back to my inner stylist and decided to do what I do best, cut hair!

Butterflies pretty much surrounded my stomach since it’s been so long since I last did a haircut. But I knew I still had it in me. The Nursing course might be all what I do right now, but my talent remains in my soul (how deep LOL). I really had fun doing the hair of my 4 clients namely, my mom (who was my most meticulous client so far), my sister (who pretty much had a $700-free make-over just because I’m his gay brother), Maricar (who gave me the most publicity with her mouth), and Rizza (who by far has the thickesthair I had to work with! Talk about gazillion layers!)

Pictures would come soon if I could get them to do a gorgeous photo shoot with me.

YouTube Views!

Archuleta’s Best!

So now that I have more free time in my hands, I finally got to surf my favorite video site next to XTube (wink! just kidding…or not) and show you what I’ve been sitting to all day long.

So I’ve always fell in love with Daviad Archuleta the moment I saw his audition on AI and I even planned in making this site of mine a sort of unofficial fansite of his but never really had the chance to work on it due to my busy school schedule. Anyways, I always admired his ability in doing vibratos so well, but this performance of his really nailed the reason why I love him so much.Aside from the performance, after all the grotesque (yes, this season, not only Noriega deserves this adjective) outfits Paula Ab-DULL has been flaunting, this is her best look so far compared to those sparkly pieces and gloves kinda thing. Whoever dressed her on this episode should keep his/her job.

Move over Anton!

When you say Regine Impersonator in the Philippines, people would immediately refer to Anton Diva as the best in immitating Asia’s Songbird (seriously people, do Asians really even know she’s the songbird?). But the above video is more of the lip sing impersonator. Just watch her roll her eyes and flap her lips. It’s so good I’m speechless after seeing it on TV.

What the?

The question here is not who’s vocalizing, but who’s in the background laughing like a hyena. So there you go guys. Watch out for new entries. My head is filled with ideas ideas ideas. :)
