Work Hard. Spend Harder.

October 1st, 2008 by Remcyl

Now, though this doesn’t always apply to me, having other more important things to work on than spending, I’ve really been eying on this new gadget released by Nokia. It’s the new Nokia E71, a model released amongst their line of business phones. After previously owning a Sony Ericsson P990i, my standards when it comes to quality and functional phones has been at its peak.

A pat in the back

July 7th, 2008 by Remcyl

Ever since technology hit every inch of my DNA, I can’t help but be an addict on the latest gadgets even if most of what I like can’t be afforded by a class D person like me. But the best thing about life is you can aspire for things and be hopeful that one day, you can purchase most of your wants.

So let’s start with what I’d be patting my back with in the future when I start working.

Price as of today: Php 14,500.00

Ahh yes, the Sony Ericsson P1i. I’ve had my eye on this gadget for quite some time now and it’s the first on my list of things to buy for myself. I know it’s been out for a long time now, but nothing can’t seem to beat this gadget in terms of features. Being an SE-fan, camera and unique QWERTY keypad made this a definite must-have.

Price as of today: Php14,600.00

The PlayStation Portable. A lot of people may not know this, but I am a die-hard fan of the gaming world. I could still remember when I was young, right before I go to school, I’d be in my room playing with the family’s Family Computer hooked on Mario Brothers and Circus. Gadgets has gone way too quickly with touch screen features and the likes for me to catch up with all the techy-hoo-has, but I’m still cut out for what the new games has to offer.

Price as of today: Php37,755.00

My brother bought this one for himself and I must admit, I am jealous. Not because it’s sooo expensive, but have you ever seen a graphic designer who works freelance to work on a desktop? Not that anything’s wrong with that, but better specs means better output, right?

Price as of today: Php 21,400.00

Working out at the gym is a real bummer if a slut had a CD with the song Low continuously played till her CD finishes. So having an iPod Touch would be a whole lot better. It may even make me build these muscles of mine faster with the energy it could give me. Sigh, just imagine a workout on the treadmill with Madonna’s 4 minutes in your ear. I could see myself now doing the whole grocery-sliding-thinga-majigga.

And last but not the least…

Price as of today: Php 11,500.00

Need I say more?

In total, the patting I have for my back costs Php 99,755.00.

Geesh! Can you imagine this is the price I have to pay to satisfy my wants?

I’m sure for those who poo gold and diamonds, buying all these means nothing, but to those who can’t afford to stop their stomach from rumbling, this is luxury at it’s best.

Screw my tech-wants, I’m satisfied with whatever life gives me. May it be a landline phone, a brick game, a desktop computer, a radio, or a disposable camera. For all these are dispensable and are earthly things we can live without.

Randomness…

Randomness #1

Do you know when you’ve reached rock bottom? When you start joining contest with mobile phones as the price just to get one. I’ve been visiting the web site of Sony Ericsson lately for reasons far from my better understanding. I have happened to have clicked on one of their featured contests and joining is soo simple! It’s easier than saving money that’s for sure!

So anyways, I’ve finally seen my entry and it’s currently on page 12 the last time I’ve checked it out.

I know it’s crap but once I learned my competition, I’ve stepped it up a bit by sending in 2 other photos which I think somehow has a chance in getting through.

I do hope I win so as soon as I purchase the K770i, when I win, I’ll have another Cybershot phone! You can never have too many cellphones right?

So with that said, I’ll be posting a new kind of entry once I get my phone, and I’ll call it the Cybershot entry.

A new phone for my baby!

January 5th, 2008 by Remcyl

My site has been down for a long time, and I haven’t been blogging lately. Things are on the move for me (literally been moving) so updates are really not in my timeline right now. But don’t worry, I’d be updating the site very soon.

Yes, I know. I was the first one planning on buying a new phone but my baby beat me haha. It ain’t no race but I sure am happy for him. He bought a brand new Samsung U700 which is jam packed with features and the screen is just beaming with fabulous colors. It’s a 3G phone which is a must for the both of us since we regularly do video calls and proudly screams with it’s 3.2 megapixel camera.

I on the other hand am still saving for my SE K850i. I had been short on the budget but a job me and my boyfriend are working on would pay for the remaining amount I need. If you people are feeling generous to help me out with the money, I’d love to give you the free space on my site as advertisements. The holidays isn’t far from over anyways. :)

No more camwhoring?

December 23rd, 2007 by Remcyl

Yes, this might be true unless I get to borrow my grandmother’s Olympus digital camera every single time I go out.

In case you haven’t been updated yet, I just sold my 5-month old phone to a very good friend of mine, Aaron Bauzon. Augh! I can’t believe it either, but here I am, fixing the box, manuals, CD’s, and headsets. As in the whole package is ready for departure. Haha, just kidding.

With the money that I’d be getting out of this, I plan to buy a brand new phone early next year, the SE K850i. Since that isn’t of much importance and it can wait anyways, I plan to do something with some of the amount which I’d be blogging about as soon as I accomplish it.

So how in the world will Dagupan’s infamous bisexual post pictures on the site now? I too have no idea. Until a rich socialite like Paris Hilton visits Dagupan and decides to give a camera giveaway, not much photo updates would happen here (the thought scares me to death!).

But it’s all worth it I tell you. You’ll soon know why.

Now if you give me a moment, I’ll be playing with my calculator for now and pretend I’m texting. :)
